POSEIDON EXTREME PROTECTS AND PERFORMS

Armus took Hull Pro, our best performing hull protectant, and created Poseidon Extreme, a combo product of both our yachting nano-formulated primer and our clear high-gloss topcoat.



Based on our patented nano-strengthening technology of Hull Pro, we designed Poseidon Extreme to perform as well as protect.



Unlike a traditional bottom paint that scuffs, wears down, or contains biocides, Hull Pro and Poseidon Extreme work with molecular nano-bonding to provide strength and protection and reduce vessel drag in the water.



The results? Less cleaning, more fuel efficiency, and SPEED.

OUR CUSTOM APPLICATION GAVE A PERFECT HIGH-GLOSS FINISH

Our application photos below show the Nighteagle 42 during application over the course of 6 days.



Day 1: The first day comprised of taping off the waterline and covering any electrical components with tape and cleaning the original bottom paint. We sanded with 1000-grit wet orbital sander from the waterline down with multiple freshwater wash downs.



Day 2: We applied Part 1 of Poseidon Extreme, our EPY yachting primer in grey. Application was done in sections using a spray gun. The vessel was left to dry and cure for 24 hours.



Day 3: This step is optional for those who are looking for a showroom finish. We wet-sanded our primer coating with a 1500-grit wet orbital sander with multiple freshwater wash downs to get a super smooth base coat. This is optional.



Day 4: We applied Part 2, our Hull Pro high-gloss performance topcoat. For this project, we used a custom black topcoat. We began application after confirming the hull’s surface was fully dry and the primer fully cured. Application of the topcoat was also done with an HVLP spray gun. The vessel was left to dry and cure for 24 hours.



Day 5: The jack stands were moved and full application of the topcoat was provided to the voids.



Day 6: We completed the final inspection of our coating to ensure the coating was fully cured and dry. Afterwards, the tape was removed. We ensured the topcoat was fully dried and cured and not tacky prior to vessel immersion for field testing!
