Hull Pro Isn't Just for Full Hulls. Here Is What the Detail Kits Can Do.
Lower units, transoms, live wells, trim tabs, keels, hardtops — the parts that take the most abuse get the same ceramicized epoxy protection as a full hull install. Sized for the job. Priced for the job.
What to expect
Same formula. Smaller kit. Exactly where you need it.
Targeted protection
Apply exactly where you need it most. Lower units, trim tabs, transoms, live wells — the parts that take the most abuse get the same ceramicized epoxy as a full hull install.
Right-sized, right-priced
Two kit sizes — 4oz PWC Kit and 2oz Mini Kit — designed for spot work. A great way to try Hull Pro before committing to a full hull application. Same performance, fraction of the cost.
Multi-season durability
Non-sacrificial formula. No recoating every season. Resets completely with a power wash and acid wash. Touch up small damage with the Mini Kit and keep your warranty intact.
Where Hull Pro works beyond the hull
The parts that take the most abuse deserve the best protection.
Boat owners and detailers are using Hull Pro Detail Kits in more places every season. Here are the most common applications — and which kit size covers each one.
Lower units are constantly submerged, exposed to growth, corrosion, and impact. Hull Pro's hard ceramicized epoxy protects the housing, reduces fouling buildup, and makes cleaning significantly easier at haul-out.
Transoms take constant abuse from engine wash, impact, and submersion. A coated transom stays cleaner, resists staining, and holds its gelcoat color at resale — something buyers notice immediately on inspection.
Live wells and bilges develop staining, slime, and algae buildup quickly. Hull Pro's smooth surface prevents buildup from bonding aggressively — keeping wells cleaner longer and making end-of-season cleaning significantly faster.
Trim tabs are constantly in and out of the water and prone to barnacle growth and corrosion. The waterline is the most visible area at dock. Hull Pro keeps both cleaner and protects the gelcoat at the most exposed part of the vessel.
Hardtops are constant UV exposure above deck. Engine skirts sit low at the waterline and take engine wash and growth. Hull Pro's 85% UV resistance protects hardtops from fading and oxidation — above and below the waterline.
The keel takes direct abrasion from trailers, bunks, and beach landings. Voids from jack stands and yard arms are easily touched up with leftover material. Swim ladders are constantly wet and exposed to growth and corrosion — a coated ladder stays cleaner and resists rust season after season.

The same ceramicized epoxy formula. Applied exactly where you need it.
Hull Pro Detail Kits contain the same ceramicized epoxy formula as the full hull kits — just in smaller quantities sized for targeted work. The application process is identical: clean the surface, mix Part A and Part B at a 4:1 ratio, apply with a foam roller, allow to cure. No special tools, no professional equipment required.
Once cured, the coating is hard, smooth, and non-sacrificial. It does not ablate, shed, or degrade from normal use. Touch up damage with leftover kit material — sand the scuff, apply a coat, wait 72 hours before relaunch. Your dealer logs the touch-up and your warranty stays intact.
For boaters who want to try Hull Pro before committing to a full hull install, a Detail Kit application on lower units or a transom is the ideal first step. Same chemistry, same results, smaller investment.
